Delightful staff and cozy ambiance

Our stay was highlighted by the exquisite breakfast, lovingly prepared by Jan in the kitchen. The ambiance was warm and inviting with a lovely fireplace, making it an ideal retreat. Special thanks to Sandy and Michael for their exceptional service.

While the character of the hotel is charming, the rooms, particularly the bathrooms, were quite small. A few quirks, like the dimly lit spaces and lack of modern amenities, might not suit everyone.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the cozy lounge areas with an open fire and the charming grounds that would be perfect for a relaxing afternoon, all just a short walk from pretty spots like the Southern Highlands Botanic Gardens and the Mary Poppins Statue.

Such a beautiful place to stay! The Wilkinson Room was cozy with a fireplace, and the breakfast was well thought out and beautifully presented. Michael's service was a highlight. he remembered little details, making our stay extra special. Highly recommend for a memorable experience! 😊

The cozy fireplace was great, but the room felt a bit neglected.

The kids and I loved the beautiful views across the Bowral Golf course while relaxing in the intimate library area, which had a nice selection of books. Dining at Ethos Restaurant was a treat, especially with the delicious local cuisine on offer.

My wife says that the hallway noise was a bit bothersome.

Efficient bathroom space usage

The room had a comfortable choice of pillows and nice linen, making for a pleasant night's sleep. the overall condition felt neglected, with a worn carpet and a notably small bathroom that detracted from the experience. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring freshly squeezed juice that complemented the dining experience well. Staff were friendly but the interior could benefit from some updates to match the charm of the property.

Braw weekend away! The staff were pure brilliant, and the cozy lounge with the roaring fire made it feel like home. Would've liked breakfast served a wee bit quicker, but the fresh orange cake was a true highlight!

The dining options were exceptional. the meals were well-presented and delicious, particularly the dinner served in the inviting lounge area. Michael’s attentive service added a personal touch, making each dining moment memorable. The beautiful gardens and serene location provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation after a long day of work.

The room had a few cleanliness issues that could have been addressed prior to my arrival.

We had a delightful time at this quaint accommodation surrounded by picturesque views over Bowral Golf Links. The cozy Garden Cottage provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, enhanced by the roaring fire and charming lounge areas. The highlight, though, was the cooked breakfast served in the elegant dining room, offering a range of delicious options that got our day off to a great start. If there was a small improvement to suggest, it would be adding some throw blankets in the lounge areas for extra comfort during cooler evenings.
